Rena Rennebohm, AAM
CEO and Creator of Empowered Advisor
With over 20 years experience in the automotive industry, Rena has always had a passion for helping people. As a Service Advisor, she found every way possible to improve and utilize her skills. Implementing new techniques with basic fundamentals gave Rena the ability to become one of the most sought after trainers and coachs in our field.
Dedicating her time training Service Advisors with one-on-one calls, webinars, and classes is what she lives for. With high energy and understanding, rapid and continued improvement has been shown across the board from her clients.

Tim Shaffer became a general auto repair shop owner in 2007 when he purchased Dale’s Service Center from his parents. Based in Davenport, Iowa, he worked in the family business throughout his high school and college years. Tim has served as a Technician and as a Service Advisor, he has integrated computer systems for the business and has trained with numerous coaches and training programs.
Tim loves the business part of the automotive industry and wants to help other shop owners succeed. Tim and his wife, Mandy, have been married for 17 years. Together, they have three daughters: ages 15, 13, and 10. The family also has a dog (her name is Keo) and four chickens.

Joe Jerkins
Coach and Consultant
Joe has been in the Automotive Industry since 2007 and since then he has worked at a tire store, a dealership, then managed a shop that he ended up purchasing. Joe has a passion for people and sales and understands what it’s like to start from scratch without a mechanical background.
He married his high school sweetheart and “the brains of the operation”, Amanda they have 2 kids and 5 furry friends. In his spare time, if he’s not at the soccer fields, or driving to the soccer fields for his kids, he enjoys working in their yard and garden, the St. Louis Cardinals, and attempting to out hunt and fish with his dad as much as possible.
Lee Fleming

Lee Fleming started out in the automotive industry in 1998, Lee worked for 16 years as an automotive technician. After a successful career as a service technician Lee changed his focus to become a service advisor. Lee has successfully completed numerous service advisor and sales training courses over the years. Lee has in the last nine years has held the roll of service advisor, service manager, store manager running a successful shop intel the summer of 2023. Lee Fleming started out in the automotive industry in 1998, Lee worked for 16 years as an automotive technician. Natalia Wegener
Executive Assistant
As the Executive Assistant for Empowered Advisor, Natalia collects the weekly training calls and makes secret shopper calls. Natalia has experience with customer relations. She also works as an office manager at an acupuncture clinic and has experience with many different aspects of customer service from scheduling, to talking to new clients, and product sales.
In her free time, Natalia enjoys hiking with her Great Dane, gardening, and collecting house plants. She also does pet sitting where she has taken care of all sorts of animals from cats and dogs to camels and emus. Some of Natalia’s other passions are traveling, photography, and environmental issues.
Raegan Fierro
Instructional Data Coordinator
Raegan’s background in the automotive industry is extensive and started very early working with her father at a dealership. She has experience in almost every area of operation from service, parts, and warranty to administration and sales. Her well-rounded understanding of the industry provides her with in-depth knowledge of how successful automotive shops operate.
As a mother and wife of a military serviceman and in between her projects for Empowered advisor, Raegan also enjoys working on home improvement projects and sewing.
